When we go away for a weekend in Winter, we almost always find ourselves in the Tulbagh region: beautiful valleys and mountains, nice places to eat, nice places to stroll through.
At the beginning of July, we visited the Fraaigelegen farm, a place we had gone to nine years ago with my brother and his family. We also spent a night at the Riebeek-Kasteel Royal Hotel on the way back.
During our stay there, we visited several farms: Montpellier, Bosjes, Saronsberg, and Kloovenburg. All of these do not just have great views, wine, and food, they also are very kid-friendly. Especially Bosjes, which hosts three stunning playgrounds it definitely worth a visit.
