South Africa went into Covid-19 lockdown quite stringently — for good reason as we’re noticing now, our hospitals are struggling to keep up and I can’t imagine what it would’ve been if we hadn’t slowed it down at first.
During the first month, we were barely allowed to leave our homes so when restrictions were finally lifted, we enjoyed going for some strolls.
On a few occasions, I took my new Canon RP. Here are some pics I took.
Sea Point Promenade
We used to live just off the Sea Point promenade and it was the first place we visited when lockdown loosened.

Camps Bay
A few weeks later, we went to Camps Bay.

Franschhoek
A little while later, we drove up to Franschhoek. This picturesque town is one of the places we love to go wine tasting. That’s not going to happen any time soon, but the beauty of the surrounding mountains made it well worth the trip.
