World of Birds

I had passed by World of Birds a few times before, but never entered it. World of Birds is the largest bird park in Africa and hosts over 400 birds and small animal species. It’s a sanctuary, so of course the animals are caged in, but they’ve tried their best to give them some decent space. It’s sad to see the birds that are hurt, in a lot of cases through human intervention. Luckily, they’ve found a haven here.

One of the big challenges for taking pics in World of Birds was trying to avoid wires, cages and other human constructs as those would damage the shot. Here are a few of my favourites.
