Once a year my team at Automattic, called Sirius, meets in person. Last year we went to Mallorca, but this year my team the long travel down to Cape Town. One of our activities was to hike up Table Mountain.
Route
We took my favourite route up the mountain via Kasteelspoort. We walked to the cable car and took that down. I thought I had emphasised enough to all team members how challenging this hike was, but apparently, I wasn’t explicit enough. A few members struggled, but we were able to see it through and enjoy the beautiful views at the top.
The two pics below showing the view from high-up that includes the ocean has dirt roads on them. It is there that we started our hike, just to give you some perspective on how intense the hike was.
